Elden & Rowe was developed as a concept for a contemporary estate agency focused on architecture-led homes across Surrey and the Home Counties. The project explored how a quieter, more editorial approach to digital presentation could elevate perception within the property market - moving away from overcrowded interfaces and transactional browsing experiences.
Built as a fully scalable CMS-driven system, the experience adapts dynamically based on property status, allowing active, rental and sold listings to serve different user intentions. Alongside the website itself, the project expanded into a wider visual ecosystem spanning mobile experiences, campaign applications and brand presentation across multiple touchpoints.

Elden & Rowe was developed around the idea that many premium homes are still presented through overcrowded interfaces, generic branding systems and heavily transactional browsing experiences. Rather than competing for attention through density and visual noise, the project explored how a calmer, more editorial approach could create stronger emotional connection and elevate perception around both the homes and the agency itself.
Positioned around architecture-led homes across Surrey and the Home Counties, the visual direction focused on restraint, atmosphere and clarity. Inspired by architectural publications and contemporary interior photography, the experience uses generous spacing, softened tones and imagery-led layouts to create a browsing experience that feels quieter, more immersive and intentionally paced.
The goal was not simply to create a modern estate agency website, but to position Elden & Rowe as a more considered brand — one that feels curated, design-aware and visually aligned with the homes it represents.

Beyond the visual layer, the project was built around a scalable CMS structure designed to adapt dynamically based on property status and user intent. Rather than relying on static templates across every listing, the system allows active, rental and sold properties to serve different purposes within the browsing experience.
Active listings prioritise enquiries, specifications and conversion-focused interactions, while sold properties automatically transition into a more minimal presentation focused on social proof, trust and brand perception. This shift allows each property state to feel intentional rather than repetitive, creating a browsing experience that better reflects how users engage with property online.
The wider user experience was also designed around modern browsing behaviour, with a strong emphasis on mobile discovery, image-led navigation and calmer visual pacing. By reducing friction and allowing content to breathe, the experience encourages slower, more immersive interaction - placing greater emphasis on atmosphere, materiality and the character of each home.
